讲座内容简介：The presentation will give an introduction into massspectrometric imaging on Orbitrap mass spectrometers using an atmosphericpressure MALDI source. A brief introduction into mass spectrometry in generalwill guide the audience towards mass spectrometric imaging and it´sapplications. The complete workflow will be shown. Starting withsample preparation by cryosectioning including special protocols compatiblewith mass spectrometric application, the influence of mass spectrometric parameters,i.e. mass resolution, will be demonstrated. Several examples ranging from drugimaging in mouse tissue, single cell analysis to imaging of infected plants andimaging of insects will give an insight into the versatile application rangeand will demonstrate the application of mass spectrometric imaging for researchand development..
